Women in Military Service to America
The Women In Military Service For America Memorial, at the Ceremonial Entrance to Arlington National Cemetery, is the only major national memorial honoring all women who have defended America throughout history. Their patriotism and bravery are a part of our nation’s heritage and are now recognized. The Women’s Memorial is proud to recognize women for their devoted patriotism and bravery as an integral part of our national heritage.
Kathleen Dennis is a retired US Army Colonel who commanded the finest American soldiers as a brigade commander (twice), a battalion commander, a company commander and a platoon leader; taught America’s finest youth at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point; trained joint military task force headquarters.
Now fully retired, she serving as one of the Colorado State Ambassadors for the Women in Military Service to America (WIMSA); also serving as a Civilian Patrol Volunteer with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
